Mr Chetan Nalavade announced that PN Safety Industries and Balaji Nets and Rope Private Limited have launched two state-of-the-art products in the Indian market for the safe use of material handling required by sugar factories.
1. Fortune Baler Twine.
Baler twine is primarily used as a packaging material in the agricultural sector. In which twine is a fine rope consisting of a very strong group of fine strands. Sugarcane coming out of the sugar factory is converted into sugarcane waste and bagasse for storage while doing so, these ropes are basically used to bind them in bundle forms. This rope is used in sugar factory areas as it is durable for many years in any environmental conditions.

Baler twines are used to store all such items such as agricultural crop waste in a very tight manner. Also baler twine is used for flattening and tying gathered crops like hay, cotton etc. into closely tied bales which are easy to handle, move and store. Baler twine is strong and durable and is often used for domestic rope in daily agricultural practices.
Fortune baler twine is specially manufactured for the sugar industry and has many excellent features: continuous knotless, high strength, very easy to handle product. Baler twine is available in 18000 to 24000 denier with a strength of 136 to 190 kgf.
2. Fortune Rope Sling.
Transportation of sugarcane is very important for sugar factories. In it, the sugarcane is transported from the field to the factory with the help of bullock carts and tractors, but while doing this, a very strong rope called a sling is used to prevent the sugarcane from falling down. These cords are ground down and spread across tractor trolley/ bullock carts before stacking sugarcanes in the carts. After that, when the cane is filled, both ends of the rope are tied to each other to restrict any movement of sugar stacking in transportation.
These slings have eye loops at both ends so that when the vehicle reaches the factory, the entire cane is lifted by a crane. The hook of the crane is stuck in this eye loop and when the crane is lifted, the sling tightly tied around the cane helps to lift the entire cane. Slings consumption is on the higher side at each factory as it’s an essential material packaging commodity.
Rope slings vary 20mm to 40mm in diameter. A sling has a strength of at least 3500 to 17000 KGF. Basically Slings are strong and durable in nature, very sturdy in any type of environment, Easy to handle and wrap around sugarcane.
